Cheerful, quirky, and resilient Haley has escaped a bad marriage and an ugly life in Texas to create a life in Manhattan with her daughter. Her job as a waitress has evolved into management of a restaurant that becomes suddenly stylish when it receives a glowing review in the New York Times. Her daughter has hit adolescence. It’s time to give men another chance. As we laugh uproariously, Haley goes on one bad date after another, working her way through her huge collection of shoes, reporting in hilarious detail each catastrophic encounter. And just when someone genuinely interesting comes into her life, the Romanian mobsters who own the restaurant she manages threaten to turn it all upside down! Bad Dates is a romantic comedy sure to delight Hangar audiences…and their dates.
