Although the Hangar produces its primary seasons only in the summer, its seasons and its subscribers feel more like a regional theatre.  Mainstage seasons include premieres of new plays, recent dramas, classic plays and musicals; productions are approached by the artistic team with fresh ideas.  It’s not your typical summer stock! 

Artists working on and off-Broadway are proud to call the Hangar their summer retreat, and Mainstage artists and Lab Company artists share time and space together.  The Hangar prides itself on producing new work by emerging writers and providing the space and resources for young artists to hone their craft.
