Director of Marketing and Communications

Seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Marketing and Communications to develop and lead the theatre’s marketing, public relations, audience development and sales strategies. Candidates must have excellent organizational and management skills, they must work well with volunteers and colleagues, and they should have experience in professional theatre and arts marketing. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their prior successes in achieving or exceeding sales goals. Excellent writing skills are essential; as is familiarity with graphic design and social media tools to reach new markets.

With an annual budget of $1.5 million, Hangar Theatre is a SPT Level 9 theatre producing five summer Mainstage productions, five summer KIDDSTUFF productions, experimental Lab Company Productions directed by Drama League Fellows, and year-round arts-in-education programs and special events.
