If You Give A Mouse A Cookie

What would you do if a cute little mouse asked you for a cookie? ...and some milk? ...and a napkin? ...and a nap?! Find out what happens when one little boy spends his entire day trying to keep up with one mischievous, adventurous mouse!

Themes include: patience, following directions, cooperation, and role-play.

Talkback: The actors host a 10 minute question & answer period after the show (optional).

Performance Space Requirements: We perform in school auditoriums, gyms, cafeterias, and other community spaces.

Study Guide: Hangar theatre professionals and classroom educators collaborate to create a study guide specific to each production. The study guide contains background information about the production and acting company, discussion questions and classroom activities for before and after the play.

Cost: The Hangar is pleased to offer two booking options for the 2010 school tour:

Flat Rate Option: The school pays a flat booking fee of $950 and the performance is offered to the entire school community, free of charge to invidual students. The school provides a high quality theatrical experience for all students as a shared experience. Call us to see if an early booking discount of $100 applies.

Combination Option:  The school pays $400 and agrees to publicize the performance to students, parents and members of the school community.  The Hangar Theatre will charge patrons (adults and students over the age of three) $5 per ticket at the door to cover its expenses.  The Hangar will also provide each school administrator with 20 complimentary tickets to distribute to low income families.

Schools are encouraged to think creatively about how to the raise funds necessary to pay for the performance. In the past, schools and PTAs have partnered together to split the cost of the booking fee.  Schools may hold bake sales or other fund raisers at the performance to provide additional revenue.
