The Hangar Theatre is proud to have been home to the list of actors below:

Beowulf Boritt has most recently designed the Broadway productions of Grace and Chaplin and Bronx Bombers, as well as Act One, for which he has received a Tony Award nomination for Best Scenic Design.

 

Michael Mayer* is the Tony Award- wining director of Spring Awakening and director of American Idiot on Broadway. He is currently nominated for both the Drama Desk and Tony Award for his direction on Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

 

Rob Jess Roth* directed the original production of Beauty and the Beast

 

Michael Krass most recently designed the costumes for Machinal, earning him a Tony Award nomination. 

 

Amy Ryan is an Academy Award nominated actress with notable turns in The Wire and The Office. She is also a two time Tony Award nominee. She will appear in Alejandro Inarritu’s Birdman this year, starring opposite Michael Keaton and Emma Stone. She has three other films due for release in 2014 and 2015.

 

Jane Lynch stars in FOX’s television smash hit Glee. She was also recently seen playing Ms. Hannigan in Annie on Broadway.

 

Matt August has most recently directed Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Broadway.

 

Sam Gold* has most recently directed the Broadway productions of The Realistic Joneses and The Real Thing. He was nominated for a Drama Desk award for his direction of Fun Home.

 

Sarah Rasmussen* is the head of MFA Directing at UT Austin. She is also currently the Resident  Director for the Black Swan Lab at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

 

Brian Prather has recently designed for numerous off-Broadway shows including A Christmas Carol, Becoming Dr. Ruth, The Preacher and the Shrink, and The Memory Show. He was also the designer for the off-Broadway smash Freud’s Last Session. He is a 2012 Equity Jeff Award Recipient.

 

Wade Laboissonniere is an Artisic Associate at Ford’s Theatre and costume designs frequently at the Dallas Theatre Center. He recently designed costumes for SoHo Rep’s An Octoroon.

 

Jeff Croiter was the Tony Award- winning lighting designer for Peter and the Starcatcher on Broadway. He has also recently designed for the Broadway revival of Jekyll and Hyde and has most recently designed Mothers and Sons.

 

Matt Richards is a lighting designer who has worked across the country, including at Hartford Stage, Alliance Theatre, and Huntington Theatre Company. He recently made his Broadway-debut as the lighting designer for the one-woman show, Ann.

 

Jimmy Smits has starred in acclaimed television series such as Sons of Anarchy, L.A. Law, NYPD Blue, Dexter, and The West Wing.

 

Jeremy Shamos is a Tony Award-nominated actor who recently played Karl/Steve in the Broadway production of Clybourne Park. He also recently appeared in the Broadway production of The Assembled Parties at Manhattan Theatre Company. He is appearing in Alejandro Inarritu’s Birdman this year, starring opposite Michael Keaton and Emma Stone.

 

Paul Sparks recently starred in the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. He will appear in the film Mightnight Special set for release next year opposite Kirsten Dunst and Adam Driver.

 

Kathy Fabian recently did props for The Bridges of Madison County, and I’ll Eat You Last: A Chat with Sue Mengers. She was the props coordinator for Kinky Boots.

 

Elizabeth Hake* recently appeared in the national tour of The Addams Family.

 

Alison McCarten* recently appeared in the national tour of Shrek: the Musical.

 

Noah Plomgren* recently appeared in the national tour of Hair: the Musical.

 

Chris Perfetti* was recently seen in the Broadway revival of Picnic. He also starred as Charlie in the off-Broadway production of Sons of the Prophet. He is currently appearing in the NBC television series, Crossbones.

 

Natascia Diaz recently starred as Jenny in the Signature Theatre’s Three Penny Opera and in the musical Zorro at the Alliance Theatre, Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Andréa Burns has recently appeared in the Broadway productions of The Nance and In the Heights.

 

Brian MacDevitt has won five Tony Awards for his lighting designs, including the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon. He is currently working on the upcoming Broadway productions of This Is Our Youth and A Delicate Balance.

 

Chadwick Boseman is starring beside Viola Davis and Nelson Ellis in the upcoming film Get on Up about the life of James Brown. He is also known for starring in the film 42 about Jackie Robinson.

 

John Bolton was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for his role as The Old Man in A Christmas Story, the Musical on Broadway. He also recently appeared in the Broadway productions of Curtains, Spamalot, and Contact.

 

Michele Ragusa has appeared in multiple Broadway productions such as Young Frankenstein, Urinetown, A Class Act, and Ragtime.

 

Joe Calarco was nominated for a Drama Desk award for direction for both A Christmas Carol and In Transit. He is well-known for his Romeo and Juliet adaptation, Shakespeare’s R&J.

 

Stacie Morgain Lewis has appeared in multiple Broadway productions such as Sunday in the Park with George, Wicked, and Urinetown.

 

Mark Price has appeared in multiple Broadway productions such as Mary Poppins, All Shook Up, and Mama Mia.

 

Jen Cody has appeared in multiple Broadway productions such as Shrek: the Musical, The Pajama Game, and Urinetown. She is also known for voicing Charlotte La Bouff in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog.

 

Jordan Gelber recently starred as Buddy the Elf in the Broadway production of Elf. He also appeared in Avenue Q and the revival of All My Sons.

 

Victoria Matlock appeared in the Broadway production of Million Dollar Quartet, and in the national tours of The Full Monty and Evita. She also starred as Elphaba on the Wicked national tour.

 

Brian Crawley* is the book writer and lyricist of the musical Violet, now on Broadway. He also wrote the musical A Little Princess, an adaptation of the book by Frances Hodgson Burnett, which was first produced by Theatreworks.
